Having trained as a corporate lawyer with Slaughter and May, Tom founded greentomatocars (www.greentomatocars.com) - London’s first environmentally friendly taxi service – in March 2006. greentomatocars has grown from 4 cars then to 70 today and recently launched a franchise in Sydney, Australia (www.greentomatocars.com.au).

greentomato has also branched out of the transport sector and is offering individuals easy entry into energy efficiency with the greentomatokit (www.greentomato.org) and is in the process of developing a number of varying-stage ideas.

greentomato’s mission is to bring the environment into the mainstream through offering affordable and accessible environmental products to everyday people. Tom, 30, was born and raised in London and graduate from Cambridge University
