Articulating the opportunity for business
The purpose of this new event is to help business articulate the opportunities that Climate Change brings. There are many obligations for business, but its most relevant role with this issue is as an agent of change. It is business that will accelerate the development and distribution of new, climate-friendly ways of living within the limitations of our fragile environment. It will also facilitate the reduction and removal of CO2 in our various infrastructural processes.
The event will first take a glance at the latest drivers of change – particularly the science and policy. The focus, however, will be on articulating the opportunity for business. Our schedule brings together some of the most influential individuals in the vanguard of commercial responses to climate change. They will help us understand the size and nature of various opportunities. By relaying their experiences they will also show us what other opportunities exist and the inherent challenges.
