Opportunities from a low carbon future
Forum for the Future has worked with a number of leading businesses on future scenarios and the challenges and opportunities of climate change. Peter will look at the framing of the climate change debate and then focus on the opportunities offered to far sighted businesses and entrepreneurs. He will illustrate what some of the products and services from a low-carbon future might look like.- What environmental changes we will face and how this might be affecting humankind and the natural world
- How we frame the climate change challenge to promote engagement and innovation
- How businesses might handle climate change, Which would benefit from a move towards a low-carbon economy and which would suffer
- How might people feel about climate change? How will this affect their attitudes and behaviour – towards each other, towards government, towards people of other countries and towards business?
- Some gaps in the market – ideas for eco-entrepreneurs
