Green Business Events Ltd needs a fixer to
help the business prepare for its first growth phase.
In its first five months Green Business Events has organised five events looking at Climate Change and what it means for business. They have attracted over 700 people.
This year we will be organising a number of additional events: network-specific events looking at these issues in the context of the built environment, transport, supermarkets, and data centres; and general events for climate change and sustainability professionals.
The role would include marketing research, lead sourcing, topic research, office administration and a number of other 'fixer' tasks.
This would either suit a recent graduate with some experience in this space or someone looking to move into the green space. Perhaps someone who has worked in conferences and is looking for a change of outlook. Or someone who is very interested in climate change and business
You would start on a six month contract, which would involve being paid between £900 and £1200 PCM depending on previous experience. There will also be a couple of bonus systems that could increase this amount significantly – they will be linked to company sales and the completion of set tasks.
There are many opportunities for this new business and we are looking for intelligent people who do things thoroughly, can spot opportunities in the market and generally get things right first time. We hope that the candidate will stay in the role, which will elevate as the company expands
Please apply in 100 words on why you would like this job and how it fits in with your plans. Attach a CV (maximum 2 pages). Please send all responses to Ben Patten via e-mail (ben.patten@greenbizevents.co.uk).
